Geranium sessiliflorum nigricans - Dwarf Black Cranesbill
Geranium sessiliflorum nigricans makes for an intresting bronze fine texture for the perennial border or rock garden. The Dwarf Black Cranesbill has stayed true to its dwarf name. After several years Geranium sessiliflorum nigricans has grown 4-6" tall and spread to a little more than a foot. Small white flowers, roughly the size of the leaves bloom in the late Spring into early Summer. Geranium sessiliflorum nigricans has required little care beyond fending off its more aggressive neighbors. The Dwarf Black Cranesbill has been unscathed by our Winter temperatures in the high teens.
