Geranium sanguinium striatum * Striped Bloody Cranesbill
Geranium sanguinium striatum stays very low and has a huge display of these pink flowers. The pale pink petals with the magenta veins showing look particularly great backlit so the veins show. Geranium sanguinium striatum grows great in full sun to light shade. The 6" tall plants will slowly spread a couple of inches each year up to a couple of feet wide. Geranium sanguinium striatum does not stand up well to traffic. The plants are quite drought tolerant and require decent drainage. This hardy geranium will grow in zones 4-10.
