Geranium cantabrigiensis Biokovo - Mountain Geranium
Mountain Geranium is true to its name and hardy. The leaves of Geranium Biokovo turn red when the weather gets cold. In our area Geranium cantabrigiensis Biokovo blooms almost all year. It does its best blooming in the early spring. The cultivar Biokovo is noted for its pale pink flowers and bright pink anthers. Geranium Biokovo plants are successful in almost all soils if given a bit of time to dry out between watering cycles. They don't do so well in a puddle. Geranium Biokovo is a naturally occuring hybrid of Geranium macrorrhizum and Geranium dalmaticum. This geranium is native to Serbia.
