Geranium harveyi - Silver Geranium
Geranium harveyi will form a low carpet through its section of the garden. The pink flowers of the Silver Geranium bloom in the latter part of the Spring. But it is the Silver foliage that is the reason to grow this South African Geranium. In our garden Geranium harveyi reseeds within the irrigated bed it is planted in but can't take our dry Summer weather without a little help. Geranium harveyi grows 6" tall and spread a couple of feet. Geranium harveyi is hardy to temperatures in the low 20°s.
