Cistus Sunset ~ Magenta Rockrose
Cistus Sunset is a compact rockrose. Mine have stayed about 3-4 feet wide and 1.5 feet tall. The leaves of Cistus Sunset are broader than most of the other rockroses and somewhat grayer. Cistus Sunset has intensely pink flowers and they are about 2" across. I have grown Cistus Sunset on all types of soil and given only minimal water and in all cases the plants have thrived. Cistus Sunset has bested winter temperatures into the single digits in our coldest gardens with no signs of damage.
