Acacia vestita ~ Hairy Wattle
Acacia vestita is a small weeping tree. The Hairy Wattle blooms early in the season, mid February into Spring our area, becoming almost completely covered with yellow flowers. Acacia vestita slowly grows to 15 feet and can become an effective screen by tip pruning the branches. The Hairy Wattle is very drought tolerant. Aacia vestita will recover from tip pruning but larger branches will not recover. Plants are frost tolerant to 20-25°F.
