Digitalis purpurea heywoodii Silver Fox

Digitalis purpurea heywoodii Silver Fox is a stunning dwarf Foxglove. Digitalis Silver will live for 2-3 years, primarily blooming during the second season. Digitalis Silver Fox blooms from mid to late Spring. The spires grow 2-3 feet tall bearing pale bronze fading to white flowers. The leaves and stems are touchably silky and very silver. All parts of the plants are poisonous if eaten and should not be planted where this could be a problem. The turnabout to that is what keeps them safe from the deer. Digitalis Silver Fox will grow in sun or shade but requires good soil and moderate moisture.
