Justicia leonardii - Orange Justicia
Justicia leonardii is a great plant for a dark spot in the garden that needs a splash of color and little or no care. Justicia leonardii blooms in low light, doesn't require much water and sports its orange flowers all Spring through Fall with at least a few flowers showing most any time of the year. What more could you ask from a plant. The pale gray/green leaves provide a thick mass up to 3 to 4 feet tall and gradually spreading 4-6 feet wide. Justicia leonardii is Winter hardy into the mid teens with tree protection overhead. Justicia leonardii is a great addition to the butterfly garden attracting the Fiery Skipper and Cloudless Sulfur butterflies
