Erysimum linifolium variegatum ~ Variegated Wall Flower
Erysimum linifolium variegatum is a long blooming but short lived perennial. In mild gardening areas if you keep the flower stalks cut off as they start to go to seed, Erysimum linifolium variegatum will just keep producing purple flowers almost continuously all year long. The Variegated Wall Flower grows 18"tall and wide in full sun to light shade. Once established Erysimum linifolium variegatum is drought tolerant. Add Erysimum linifolium variegatum to the Buttefly Garden to attract the Great Purple Hairstreak, Mormon Metalmark and Umber Skipper Butterfly. The Variegated Wall Flower is Winter hardy to the low teens.
