Campanula poscharskyana alba ~ White Serbian Bellflower
Campanula poscharskyana alba has such a huge name that it is hard for me to forget. I always have to look up how to spell it though. The White Serbian Bellflower grows well in shaded situations in a variety of soils. It is hardy to -20° F. I use Campanula poscharskyana alba for a ground cover. I plant the White Serbian Bellflower on a one foot grid. The plants are covered in 1" white blooms spring, summer and fall, and often still have some blooms showing the rest of the year with our mild conditions.
