Acmon Blue Butterfly - Plebejus acmon
The Acmon Blue Butterfly is feeding on nectar from Lotus scoparius, or Deerweed. The Acmon Blue Butterfly has multiple flights each year. Caterpillars are fond of Eriogonum species, Dudleya species, Lupine and Lotus species. The adults are often seen on these as well as the Milkweeds and Clematis. The Acmon Blue Butterfly is primarily a California species but can be found in Baja and Oregon as well
