Tamora Rose * David Austin Rose * Introduced 1983
Tamora is one is noted for being a compact rose at 3 feet tall and wide, yet like many David Austin Roses California tends to grow them larger. Ours is comfortably 5 feet tall and wide. Tamora seems to be in bloom constantly from Spring through to Winter pruning. I have had no disease problems with this rose at all. The flowers are apricot to pink. By reputation Tamora has few disease problems and I have not seen any here in our inland valley location.
The parents of Tamora include a cross between Chaucer and Conrad Ferdinand Meyer.
