Glamis Castle Rose * David Austin Rose * Introduced 1992
The Glamis Castle Rose is white with the palest hint of pink on the exterior petals. The rose becomes a medium sized bush. The Glamis Castle Rose has few disease problems but the stems are not strong enough to hold the flowers up in the rain. Full sun exposure is a must. Regular and vigorous deadheading will help keep the canes thick. I try to cut down to the lowest sign of new growth on a cane as I trim off the dead flowers. The Glamis Castle Rose was introduced by David Austin in 1992.
The Glamis Castle Rose is the result of a cross between Mary Rose and Graham Thomas.
