Charles Rennie MackIntosh Rose * David Austin Rose * Introduced 1988
The Charles Rennie MackIntosh Rose is one of the most floriferous pink roses in our garden. It seems to be in bloom constantly from Spring through to Winter pruning. I have had no disease problems with this rose at all. The flowers are paler in the summer but are undeterred by summer heat. The leaves are thin and pale green. By reputation Charles Rennie MackIntosh has problems with mildew, though I have not seen that here in our inland valley location. My bush is about 6 feet tall.
The parents of Charles Rennie Mackintosh include Mary Rose and a cross between Chaucer and Conrad Ferdinand Meyer.
