Psorothamnus schottii * Schott's Indigo Bush
Psorothamnus schottii is native to the low desert areas of California into Arizona and Mexico. Schott's Indigo Bush blooms in the Spring following rain. Psorothamnus schottii grows to 6 feet or more tall and wide. The leaves are a grey green and about an inch long. A cluster of pea shaped dark purple flowers are produced at the ends of the branches. Psorothamnus schottii is noted for its fragrant flowers.
