Pachyphytum compactum
Pachyphytum compactum is a low growing 6" clumping succulent with pointed white leaves. Pachyphytum compacum will grow in full sun near the coast but would prefer some protection for inland gardens. The Pachyphytum compactum has a slender stalk of orange flowers late Spring into Summer. Pachyphytum compactum is native to the mountains of Mexico. This succulent requires decent drainage. Pachyphytum compactum survive some frost, significant time below 20-25°F will cause severe foliage damage.
