Echinacea Cheyenne Spirit ~ Cone Flower
Echinacea Cheyenne Spirt is a mix of plants with flowers that come in a blend of colors, cream, yellow, pink, orange and red. Taken together these colors are magnetic and almost flourescent. Fragrant flowers bloom in the late Spring through much of the Summer and if the plants are deadheaded well into Fall. Echinacea Cheyenne Spirit grows 1-2 feet tall and makes a slowly expanding clump each year. Plants do best in regularly irrigated beds with frequent removal of the dead flowers. Plant in full sun to partial shade. Echinacea Cheyenne Spirit is a great choice for attracting butterflies including the White Checkered Skipper, Gray Hairstreak, Great Purple Hairstreak, Northern White Skipper, California Common Ringlet, Mormon Metalmark, and Painted Lady to your garden. These mid-west native plants are Winter hardy to below 0° F.
