Bulbine Hallmark ~ Orange Flowered Bulbine
Bulbine Hallmark blooms in waves all year unless tipped by frost. The Orange Flowered Bulbine grows tubular suculent foliage to about a foot tall and flowers 8-12 inches above the foliage. Bulbine Hallmark will slowly spread a few inches per year rooting as it goes. In full sun there are more flowers and the folaige turns reddish. Bulbine Hallmark will tolerate many soil types if the plants are allowed to dry out between watering cycles. The Orange Flowered Bulbine will do well in light shade but will not perform well in a dark entryway. The yellow flowered Bulbine frutescens is taller and a little more tender than the Hallmark cultivar. Bulbine Hallmark is Winter hardy into the low to mid 20°'s F.
