Salvia riparia - Creeping Sage
Salvia riparia bloomed off and on all summer. The Creeping Sage has performed well in its shaded location. Winter temperatures into the mid 20°s F were not a problem for Salvia riparia. I have provided almost no care at all once the Creeping Sage settled in. Salvia riparia gets about 3 feet tall and wide. Salvia riparia is a good addition to the Hummingbird Garden as well as the Butterfly Garden.
