Guy de Maupasant Rose * Introduced 1994
The Guy de Maupasant rose is a small upright shrub growing to 3-4 feet tall. This floribunda rose like most in its class has multiple flowers per stem and repeats prolifically. The flowers are lightly quartered and a rich pink. I found the Guy de Maupasant roses to be susceptible to mildew during the June Gloom period but pretty disease resistant during the rest of the year.
The Guy de Maupasant Rose was introduced by Meilland in 1994. It is the result of a cross between (MEIturaphar x Mrs John Laing) x Egekov.
