Tillandsia bergeri
Tillandsia bergeri is a gray leafed Air Plant. Tillandsia bergeri forms a basketball sized mound fairly quickly rapidly forming pups that each expand forward in all directions. Tillandsia bergeri blooms with blue flowers in the Spring. Tillandsia bergeri plants are epiphytes needing no soil, they look great settled in a basket or attached to an artful piece of wood. Mist with good water once or twice a week. Grow in full sun to shade. My Tillandsia bergeri specimen had a great setback when my dog decided to give it the grand shake. I was furious until I discovered almost every fragment survived. Tillandsia bergeri is happy to the low-20°s F but will survive worse and look scrappy for a while.
