Stanleya pinnata - Prince's Plume

Stanleya pinnata puts on a spectacular show of yellow flowers from late Spring into early Summer. The Prince's Plume will rebloom during Summer Monsoon weather patterns. Stanleya pinnata grows in dry well drained soils. The gray leaves contrast nicely with the brilliant yellow plumes of flowers. Stanleya pinnata grows to 4 feet tall and wide. The Prince's Plume is winter hardy well below 0° F. Stanleya pinnata can be found in the Southern San Joaquin, Tehachapi's and Sierra Madres to the California deserts up to an elevation of 6000 feet.
