Passiflora Lavender Lady - Lavender Lady Passion Flower
I have found Passiflora Lavender Lady to be one of the tamer passion vines. That is not to say that it can't leap small trees, hen houses and more in a single season. Just that it is a tad slower than its cousins. The lavender purple flowers of Passiflora Lavender Lady are exotic beyond belief, far too much fun for a garden to be without. Plant in full sun to a well lit shaded part of the garden. These vines are top tender in the high twenties. I only plant Passiflora Lavender Lady in a frost free location. Passion vines have interesting methods of spreading pollen. And intriguing egg mimic appendages to fool butterflies that wish to deposit their eggs.
