Dianthus Moonglow
A carnation with flowers of this palest of yellows makes this plant stand out in the evening light. The grey leaves are loosely held. The blooms last through spring and most of the summer. I snip off the clusters of spent blooms as they cease to produce new flowers at the next leaf below the bloom cluster. I have had Dianthus moonglow persist several years, though I make cuttings every couple of years to keep myself in fresh plants.
