Cotula Silver Mound ~ Brass Buttons
Cotula Silver Mound is a low spreading perennial. The fine texture and slow rate of growth makes this Brass Buttons appropriate for the rock garden. Cotula Silver Mound grows an inch tall and spreads a few inches a season. The soft almost felty silver foliage is the attraction for this Brass Buttons. Cotula Silver Mound blooms in mid-Spring with flat topped yellow flowers on a 3" stalk. Brass Buttons is drought tolerant, but can tolerate more frequent irrigation if there is good drainage. Cotula Silver Mound is Winter hardy to the low teens.
