Stachys albens * White Hedge Nettle

Stachys albens can grow from 1.5 to 8 feet tall depending on conditions. The White Hedge Nettle will do well on a stream or pond margin, in a seasonally flooded ditch or soggy part of the garden. The White Hedge Nettle has white to lavender flowers. Stachys albens is blooming nearly continuously from late spring until well into the Fall. Stachys albens is is a larval host for the Variable Checkerspot Butterfly
