Lotus crassifolius var. otayensis, Hosaka crassifolia - Otay Mountain Lotus

Lotus crassifolius var. otayensis, the Otay Mountain Lotus is native to the mountains east of San Diego in Southern California. Some sources list this plant by Hosaka crassifolia. The Otay Mountain Lotus grows to 3-4 feet tall and up to two feet wide depending on garden conditions. Lotus crassifolius var. otayensis, Otay Mountain Lotus grows in full sun. Lotus crassifolius var. otayensis, Otay Mountain Lotus is tolerant of a wide variety of garden conditions.
