Kalanchoe tomentosa - Panda Plant

Kalanchoe tomentosa, the Panda Plant or less frequently Pussy Ears, slowly grows to about 2 feet tall and wide. Kalanchoe tomentosa will grow in full sun to moderate shade. Kalanchoe tomentosa is quite drought tolerant and in fact requires drainage. Kalanchoe tomentosa is often used as a house plant but in warmer winter areas will do quite well in the garden. On the rare occaision that it blooms Kalanchoe tomentosa blooms in the Spring with yellow green flowers. The flowers are not why you grow the Panda Plant.
