Juncus tenuis Blue Dart - Path Rush

Juncus tenuis Blue Dart grows to about 18 inches tall and forms gradually spreading clumps. In the wild the Path Rush grows in wetlands and on the margins of streams. Juncus tenuis Blue Dart grows in a somewhat moist to very moist environment. In the garden Juncus tenuis Blue Dart needs regular but not excessive water and is not particular about soil types. After a season or two the dead leaves start to accumulate. Plants look much better if they are sheared nearly to the ground and allowed to resprout. The Path Rush grows in Full Sun to part shade. Juncus tenuis Blue Dart is not limited by winter temperatures in our area.
