Cotyledon rombifolia ~ Calico Hearts

Cotyledon rombifolia has a regular succulent shape but then there are these heart-like spots on the leaves. Cotyledon rombifolia grows to a foot at best and slowly spreads 2 to 3 feet wide. Calico Hearts grows in full sun up to moderate shade and is quite drought tolerant. Pampered as a house plant the foliage will be even more interesting than in this photo. The stems will start to root if they touch the ground. Even broken off bits will often root. Cotyledon rombifolia is Winter hardy into the high 20° F's.
