Chamelaucium My Sweet 16 - Bicolored Waxflower

Chamelaucium My Sweet 16 has fine green foliage and tiny fragrant pink and white flowers that quickly fade to pink or reddish purple. The flowers give a two tone look, Bicolored Waxflower. Chamelaucium My Sweet 16 grows 4-6 feet tall and wide. The Bicolored Waxflower prefers full sun but blooms fairly well in half day light or below. Chamelaucium My Sweet 16 is drought tolerant and is not likely to put up with wet feet for long. Being from Australia gives many plants issues with common fertilizers. I find Chamelaucium My Sweet 16 does well with a good dose of mulch, just don't leave it stacked up against the bark. Chamelaucium My Sweet 16 blooms in the latter part of Spring, flowers may linger into early Summer. Chamelaucium My Sweet 16 is winter hardy to 25-30°F.
