Campanula Sarastro * Sarastro Bellflower

Campanula Sarastro is a slowly spreading perennial that grows to 18 inches tall. Stalks with two inch bell shaped purple flowers are produced through the Summer. Campanula Sarastro is a smaller version of C. Kent Belle. The cultivar was developed in Austria by the Nursery Sarastro. Campanula Sarastro is hardy to zone 5. Plants will bloom in full sun or light shade. They prefer regular water and may require staking of they are watered overhead. Campanula Sarastro is the result of a cross between Campanula punctata and Campanula trachelium
