I fell in love with this
protea because of
the fernlike leaves. The late Winter or Early Spring red or salmon flowers were a bonus for
me. It stays low to the ground, the branches never really leave
it. It prefers well drained soil and can live in sun or light
shade. It has survived into the low 20's for me.
