A White on White Mexican Sage, Salvia leucantha Danielle's Dream is a stunning version of this hardy Mexican Sage. Salvia leucantha White Mischief grows in a variety of soils, even in heavy clay. This sage will survive in light shade but really prefers a warm sunny location. Salvia leucantha White Mischief produces its white flowers from Spring through to hard frost. Salvia leucantha White Mischief is a great nectar source for the Mournful Duskywing, Sara Orangetip, White Checkered Skipper, and the California Dogface Butterfly and is a nice addition to the Butterfly Garden as well as the hummingbird garden. Salvia leucantha Danielle's Dream is hardy into the teens but the top will burn off if temperatures dip below the mid 20°'s.
