Sally Holmes Rose * Introduced in 1976

If you are looking for a robust rose, plant a Sally Holmes rose. Peter Beales' Classic Roses, describes the Sally Holmes rose as 3' x 4', here in our climate that is quite understating the facts. I have spread out several Sally Holmes climbers at 10 feet and more. The blooms last for several weeks. They are clusters of large single blossoms that fade from pale apricot to white. I have noticed little rust or mildew even near the coast.

The Sally Holmes Rose was hybridized by Holmes in a cross between 'Ballerina' and 'Ivory Fashion'
